Princeton Battlefield State Park, the site of the 1777 Revolutionary War battle, is one of three state parks in the surrounding area. Washington Crossing State Park, which marks the site of Washington's crossing into New Jersey before his march to Trenton, features a fishing area, trails, picnic areas, and a playground. Located on the Delaware, Neshaminy State Park offers facilities for boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking. All three of these parks are within 20 miles of the community. And with 6 public and 7 private courses, Mercer County golf offers a challenge for players of all levels.
